I used to look at most modern art and say, 'I could do that.' But, when I tried doing it myself, to my surprise, it was much harder than I ever imagined. In fact, it took me years to find my favorite tools, to grasp design principles and color theory, to find my natural genre (color field), and to create artwork that added up to more than the sum of its parts. Now, art has become part of my daily routine. Everywhere I look, I see interesting color combinations and textures, and art seems to flow from within me. I think I've finally got it, and I hope you do, too!
