On a bright, sunny day in June 2012, this friendly, beautiful kitten greeted hikers at the top of the South Kaibab Trail. He was likely a barn cat as the mule barn was located just steps away. He took a particular liking to the young boy in this photo, snuggling up to him for some shade and companionship.
